Gas Natural Castilla-La Mancha will invest 900,000 euros to bring supply to Torralba de Calatrava (Ciudad Real)
· The company, which has invested 374,000 euros to bring supply to the municipality, will build 7 more kilometres of pipeline so that 380 homes and businesses can enjoy this energy source.
Today, the Mayor of Torralba de Calatrava, María Teresa González, and the Managing Director of Gas Natural Castilla-La Mancha, Juan Manuel Belda,inaugurated the natural gas service in the town, with the celebration of the official opening of the turnkey which symbolises the arrival of supply to the municipality.
During the ceremony, the gas infrastructure plan which Gas Natural Castilla-La Mancha will carry out in the town and which will enable more than 380 homes and businesses to enjoy the benefits offered by this energy source within three years, was presented.
In Torralba de Calatrava, a town in the area of Ciudad Real with more than 3,000 inhabitants, the company has invested 374,000 euros in the construction of a gas transport network which will bring supply to the town, and will build 7 more kilometres of distribution pipeline, reaching a total investment of 900,000 euros.
The arrival of gas at Torralba has been possible thanks to the collaboration agreement signed between the Autonomous Government and the energy company to extend the gas infrastructure network in the Autonomous Community. This agreement will be widened to take in a second gas infrastructure plan in the region which will enable this energy to be brought to new places in the region.

Gas Natural Castilla-La Mancha is the natural gas distribution company of GAS NATURAL FENOSA in this Autonomous Community and operates in five provinces of the Community of La Mancha, where it provides service to more than 208,000 supply points in 53 of the area's towns and has a distribution pipeline more than 2,900 kilometres long.
In the Province of de Ciudad Real, Gas Natural Castilla-La Mancha operates in the towns of Alcázar de San Juan, Argamasilla de Alba, Campo de Criptana, Ciudad Real, Daimiel, Manzanares, Miguelturra, Puertollano, Santa Cruz de Mudela, Tomelloso, Socuéllamos, Valdepeñas and the new municipality of Torralba de Calatrava.
